It’s our firm belief that loving our neighbor during this present crisis means we must change the way we do ministry. So, to protect the most vulnerable during this time, we are streaming the Sunday 9:30 a.m. worship service via Facebook. Some of us are also gathering on the lawn outside in family groups or “covid pods” at least 6 feet apart, to listen to the Facebook stream. As we note the local situation, we look forward to when we will reopen indoors with enhanced safety guidelines, but that may be awhile. (Please come back here for more information in coming weeks, if anything changes.)

Although we may be physically distanced, love demands that we not ignore the immediate spiritual needs of our neighbor either. So, we are also committed to finding creative solutions to fellowship and discipleship during this time. In the short-term, this means Livestreaming our Sunday services on Facebook. Please like and follow our Facebook page to be notified when our services go live (Sundays @ 9:30 am CDT). We are also looking into ways that we can meet digitally for prayer, bible study, and fellowship. (Note: we now offer Zoom prayer meetings on Thursday, and this Sunday, Sept. 20, we will have a “six feet apart; love in our heart” cookout on the lawn with grilled dogs, brats and veggie options, and individually-wrapped sides.) Grace prides itself on being a  thriving family in Christ. The present circumstances will not hinder us from loving each other.

We appreciate your patience during this time as we try new things and look for imaginative answers to the problems facing our church. Thank you for your willingness to try new things with us and seek to glorify the God who did spare his own Son, but with him will gracious gave us all things (Romans 8:32-35).

If you have prayer requests or specific needs please let us know.
